AEM Intercooler Kit for 2.0T

2010-2011 Hyundai Genesis Turbo Injen Intercooler Kit 26-2100C

AEM is proud to introduce an all-new high-flow front mount Intercooler Kit (part Number 26-2100C) for the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. In designing the Front Mount Intercooler Kit for the Genesis, AEM strived to create an aftermarket performance component with OEM fitment and finish. In doing so, OEM routing paths were selected for the ducting of the intercooler system. Additionally, when possible OEM clearances were maintained to critical systems found in the engine compartment of the Coupe. The finished product is a complete front mount Intercooler Kit that is designed specifically to work with AEM Cold Air Intake System (Part Numbers 21-687C and 21-687P). The front mount Intercooler Kit part 26-2100C has a Gunmetal Gray finish.

The 26-2100C intercooler kit is a comprehensive bolt-on air cooling system, it contains everything that is necessary for installation down to the couplers, clamps, and brackets. At the heart of the system, a large bar-and-plate intercooler core was chosen to replace the factory Hyundai intercooler. The AEM intercooler core is capped on both ends with end tanks that are optimized to evenly distribute airflow across the core. All-new charge pipes are also included, which are constructed from high-quality 6063-grade mandrel-bent aluminum. On the right side of the vehicle, the charge pipe connects the turbo discharge to the intercooler. On the left side, the connection from the intercooler to the throttle body is made. As an added benefit, a mounting pad is incorporated onto the charge pipe just before the throttle body. This mounting pad can be utilized to easily plumb water/methanol injection systems into the air inlet tract. This is especially useful for high boost pressure applications and vehicles used in hot climates.

Testing of the AEM Front Mount Intercooler Kit for the Genesis Coupe has revealed valuable performance data. By replacing the Genesis' factory intercooler with the AEM Front Mount Intercooler Kit, the volume of the intercooler core is doubled. This massive increase in volume results into greatly improved heat transfer, which in turn significantly reduces inlet air temperatures.

Designed for premium street driving offering better brake effect up to 600�C (1100�F). EBC Greenstuff has a high initial brake effect and gives drivers confidence from first application of the brake pedal. There is no such thing as a NO DUST pad. The very nature of how a brake works requires that some dust be generated to avoid rotor vibration (shimmying). The EBC pad creates less dust and dust is more easily washed off than most. All pads create more dust as they are bedding in especially if rotors are worn. Nominal friction coefficient 0.55. For heavier faster cars and vehicles above 200bhp we strongly recommend Redstuff which DOES offer much less dust.

Introducing the full cp-e™ Cat back exhaust system for the Genesis
Coupe 2.0T. Along with an aggressive Quad Tip design, the cp-e™ custom-made twin mufflers and the unmistakable exhaust note gives the car a whole new attitude.

Like all cp-e™ exhausts this one is made from Super Polished 304 Stainless Steel. The 16 gauge heavy duty stainless piping is mandrel bent and cut on our in-house CNC Bender and CNC Mills. The system features custom cast stainless steel cp-e™ flanges, stamped steel hangers (not just straight steel rod!), custom-made stainless mufflers, polished stainless tips and more. Everything is TIG welded by hand, which provides an incredibly durable and attractive weld bead. The system was also designed entirely in a CAD environment to guarantee a factory-like fit every time, and with great performance gains.

When coupled with the cp-e™ downpipe, the full cp-e™ turbo back exhaust aids engine breathing efficiency, but without sounding ridiculous. This exhaust system was developed for those looking for more performance and a sportier note, and not so much a no holds barred race car sound. The single 3” to dual 2.5” transition actually helps cancel unwanted noises like exhaust drone, but the total 5” cross-sectional diameter of the two 2.5” diameter pipes allows more than enough flow area for the boosted 2.0T. On our in-house Mustang Dyno the Genesis Coupe along with the cp-e™ turbo back exhaust system showed average gains of 24RWTQ and 20RWHP.

Of course as with all cp-e™ products the Genesis Coupe catback is sold with a lifetime warranty.

This unit is a solid hub version of the stage 3. The hub is solid 8-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. It is available in a 3, 4 or 6 puck configuration. Use the 3 puck for the lightest option or the 6 puck for the smoothest engagement. The 4 puck is a good compromise for both. Street drivable in 6 puck configuration, but not street friendly due to the rigid hub. Best for drag racing, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.

The RS coilover system is a 36 way dampner and rebound adjustable monotube full coilover system. The setup has seperate height and preload adjustments allowing for optimal adjustment and allowing full strut travel at all times along with pillowball upper mounts or top mounts*. Mounts are constructed of 6061 powder coated aluminum. Threads are teflon coated to prevent rust. Rebuildable and serviceable in the US.

Introducing the cp-e™ BOV upgrade kit for the 2.0T Genesis Coupe. Featuring a solid cast elbow with either an HKS or Tial flange welded on for use with BOV valves. An upgraded BOV provides better response and performance especially when raising boost pressures helping to eliminate compressor surge and preventing premature boost leakage, while increasing boost response between shifts. With any BOV upgrade, you get that sound that lets people know what's under the hood. We include cp-e™ branded silicone couples and all the hardware needed to install as well as instructions. Also compatible with our FMIC upgrade if you decide to upgrade later. We offer two very popular valves to go along with the kit: either the brand new Tial Q or the reputable HKS SSQV. The real meat and potatoes of any turbocharger's exhaust system is the downpipe. The downpipe is responsible for transporting waste exhaust away from the turbine wheel as efficiently as possible. And more often than not factory downpipes are designed with emissions as the primary consideration, not performance. Replacing the factory downpipe with a quality high-flow unit is arguably the most effective way to improve turbo response and breathing efficiency.

The cp-e™ downpipe for the Genesis Coupe 2.0T is built using only the finest materials that we have to offer. The 3”OD pipe is mandrel bent on our in-house bender, and all pipes are TIG or MIG welded by our talented welding staff. Instead of using cheaper thin gauge steel and labeling an exhaust as “light weight”, we use premium 16 gauge Super Buffed stainless steel that’s designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle, and not just a handful of races.

The downpipe is designed to bolt to the stock turbo and to the stock catback, as well as our quad tip dual catback. In full turboback guise the cp-e™ downpipe and catback liberated nearly 20 wheel horsepower and similar torque in the top end, which otherwise would have been wasted in pumping the exhaust out of the factory exhaust system. The exhaust also generated an average of 10 wheel horsepower and similar torque across the board.

One more point - The downpipe design also has provisions for a cp-e™ turbo upgrade! Customers that bought our downpipe for a stock turbo but will be installing a turbo upgrade later will be able to swap a section of the cp-e™ downpipe for a fraction of the cost of a new downpipe and bolt directly to the new turbo.

FMIC Upgrades will soon be a common modification - at which point the factory unit mounted below the main radiator will be rendered useless, taking up space, weight and collecting debris in the small end tanks.Removing the factory FMIC opens up quite a bit of usable space, reduces weight. Unfortunately - removing the small intercooler means losing support for the radiator above thus requiring alternative mounts. cp-e™ now has a basic yet versatile solution to removing your factory intercooler. The design features strong laser cut and bent steel brackets which ensure a sturdy and very precise mounting solution for the radiator assembly. The replacement mount also incorporates mounts for various coolers to take advantage of the open space: a power steering cooler and an oil cooler. The IC Replacement kit comes in various configurations: The basic kit - includes brackets and hardware necessary for removing the factory IC and installing the cp-e™ solution. With the Power Steering cooler - includes power steering cooler, extended oil lines and necessary hardware to replace the factory unit. The bigger, more efficient cooler will be a good upgrade for the vehicle. With the Oil cooler - includes the oil cooler, fittings and oil hoses. This can be a very useful addition for higher horsepower or race applications. With this kit Genesis Coupe owners will have a safe, effective place to mount the oil cooler. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T has a lot of potential and for those who want to get the most out of the vehicle - upgrading the Front Mount intercooler is a good way to get more efficiency out of the factory forced induction system and prep the car for more serious power in the future.

Custom Performance Engineering has the most comprehensive FMIC kit on the market for the Genesis Coupe 2.0T.

Keeping in mind the potential of the car cp-e™ wanted to create a kit that worked well with the factory turbo and that would also be a great upgrade for those planning for or already with turbo upgrades.

The setup features a large 24"x9.5"x3.25" mirror polished core with unique end tanks designed to help air move through the intercooler with the best possible efficiency. The bar and plate core is the most efficient design and features a 2.5" inlet and a 2.75" outlet to better flow denser air after it has been cooled. To fit the core on the car we have redesigned the factory crash bar using strong steel: the bar ensures a solid mount for the intercooler without sacrificing structural rigidity of the car. We made sure to retain the factory foam bumper support which helps absorb impact.

The kit was designed with 2.5" piping from the outlet of the turbo and with 2.75" piping after the intercooler leading to the throttle body - optimizing the flow of air. All aluminum piping mandrel bent and is bead rolled to hold higher boost.

We have custom 5-ply silicone couplers, some with a wire mesh inside to eliminate expansion under boost and increase strength.

Some of the other features include a mounting bracket for the relocation of the factory power steering cooler, T-bolt clamps for a secure fit as well as vibra-mounts to mount piping to help relieve stress from engine movement.

The design of the kit also ensures compatibility with our turbo upgrades, a feature found in our downpipe and intake designs. With the release of the cp-e™ Big Turbo setup for this car, customers would be only need to replace one new on the passenger side (provided with the turbo kit), making the upgrade hassle free and without the need for any supporting modifications or custom fabrication.

We use CMM technology(Coordinate-measuring machine) to ensure factory-like fitment, optimal pipe routing and along with our manufacturing processes we ensures perfect consistency from part to part.

Our designs are always bolt on applications - no custom fitments or adjustments will be necessary and the kit comes with everything necessary to install and run out of the box along with a comprehensive set of instructions.

The FMIC kit can be optioned out with cp-e™ silver, or black IC piping.

We also have a kit to remove the factory intercooler kit with options to add a high capacity power steering cooler and an oil cooler, sold separately.

The FMIC kit comes with a cast elbow pipe by the throttle body, with no flange by default for those running the factory BPV (By-pass valve) setup. Those upgrade thir BOV, can purchace our Genesis Coupe BOV kit, featurung the same cast piece with a flange for either HKS or Tial valves; we also offer the HKS SSQV valve or the Tial Q valve for that kit.

The cp-e™ αIntake™ was engineered to get the most out of the engine. Our design was focused on providing unrestricted airflow at the lowest temperature possible. The result brings you a bolt in replacement with the best of both worlds: the cool air from a standard cold-air intake and the unrestricted flow of a short-ram intake.

Agency Power Front Pipe Hyundai Genesis 2.0L Turbo 09+

Agency Power has created the Front Pipe for the Hyundai Genesis 2.0L Turbo to connect with the stock downpipe and the resonator. Constructed of 3" 304 stainless steel, the front pipe provides a much larger volume for the exhaust gases to flow. Being mounted behind the stock downpipe prevents this pipe from hindering the engine management and causing a check engine light. Like all Agency Power parts, care is taken with the fit and finish as well as providing a superior performing part for your Hyundai Genesis 2.0L Turbo.

The Agency Power Front Pipe has been designed to be used with either a stock catalytic converter or a aftermarket resonator.

Agency Power Resonator Hyundai Genesis 2.0L Turbo 09+

The Agency Power Resonator is constructed with 304 stainless steel with 3" openings and polished for a show finish. Being a direct replacement part for the 2.0L Turbo Genesis, this resonator is able to be used with either the stock exhaust or the Agency Power exhaust system.

The stock 2.0L Turbo Genesis utilizes a catalytic converter like section that is not sensored. This Resonator replaces that section with a free flowing design to help reduce back pressure and increase performance.
